End of soccer season 2011

November always means the end of fall soccer. We finish the season each year with a tournament in Richmond.

This is a far away shot of Shannon. He is the one with the white shirt who looks like he is in the goal. This was Shannon's best game of the whole season and this goal he scored was the highlight of his entire season.

This is Shannon with his team after this game. His team went on the next day to get 2nd place in the championship for his age group (U11).

Here is Eamon's team. They won the championship for their age group. A great end to this year. Not sure what will be next for these boys. Most of them will try out for JV soccer in the spring, so this may be the last of travel soccer for a while. It's been a good ride!!

In our near future, we have basketball and futsal. Shannon has decided to try AAU basketball this winter, and Craig will be assisting with the team sometimes. Eamon is signed up for futsal, which is a nice low-key sport, and he is also going to try out for the 8th grade basketball team. Will we be doing soccer in the spring?? Only time will tell.....
